Marsha Howe
American 1943 -

Beginning her formal art training at a young age, Ms. Howe attended a summer program at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. In 1961 she graduated with honors from the Philadelphia High School for Girls with a major in art and continued her education at the Syracuse University School of Art in Syracuse, New York. Her years of education were indeed well spent. For she developed an exacting eye for detail and the ability to faithfully capture all the drama and realism of her subjects. In fact, Marsha Howe reached the zenith of her young career when many of her works were retained for the University Collection.
