On October 3, 2013, the Marshall Islands Postal Service issues ten new stamps featuring Birds of the World: the fourth and final issue in the series. The spectacular Golden Conure is easily tamed and has a charming personality. Native to Australia, Major Mitchell's Cockatoo displays a white coloring washed with pink. The Eastern Bluebird is found in the fields and orchards of the eastern U.S. Found only in the Philippines, the Giant Scops Owl is the largest of its genus. The Thick-billed Parrot is named for its unusually large black beak. Native to northwest New Guinea, Blue-crowned Pigeons are known for their elegant, fanlike crests. The American Kestrel's range is broader than that of any other American bird of prey. The White-breasted Silver-eye is native to Norfolk Island in the southwest Pacific. The St. Lucia Amazon resides in the Caribbean islands of St. Lucia and the Lesser Antilles. The California Condor is the largest soaring land bird in North America.
