On January 16, 2007, the Marshall Islands will send their "Best Wishes" with a new set of "Greetings" postage stamps.

The Marshallese are known as warm and exceptionally friendly people. One of their most popular greetings is Yokwe yuk meaning "love to you," and speaks to the spirit of goodwill found throughout the country. To celebrate this long tradition of amity and the unique Marshallese culture, the stamps bear the common greetings: "Thank You," "Best Wishes," "Congratulations" and "Happy Birthday."

Illustrated by Eric Nitsche, these four colorful stamps capture the welcoming and friendly atmosphere of the Marshall Islands with vibrant hues, bold artwork and words of goodwill.
