The State Post Bureau issues a one-piece set of special stamp entitled "Chengtoushan Site", with a face value of 80 fen, on 6 November 2005. The picture on the stamp is named "Chengtoushan Site".

Located in Chexi Township, Lixian County, Hunan Province, Chengtoushan Site is by far the oldest and best-preserved ancient city ruins of prehistoric times, dating back to 6000 years ago, known as "China's No.1 Ancient City". Cultural relics such as kilns, foundations of houses, pottery, linen fabrics and graveyards have been found at the site. Undernearh the city walls, the traces of paddy fields were discovered, dating backing to 6500 years ago, the oldest in the world so far. It was listed in the Top 10 National Archeological Findings iin 1992 and 1997, and voted in 2001 as China's Top 100 Archeological Findings of the 20th Century. In 1996, the State Council designated it as a Key Cultural Site under State Protection.
