Legends of the West - Indian Chief: Art Print by Chris Calle
As with many American Indian traditions, the origin of the headdress is lost in the mists of time and shrouded by tribal secrecy. But most
agree that the elaborate, feathered headdress loosely associated with all American Indians was the invention of the Sioux, the proud warriors of the open plains. Eventually, the use of the
headdress expanded among the tribes. Yet each of the tribes and each individual within them added a special touch to each headdress. Every feather was prepared with great care, with each
representing a particular feat.
Art Print Size: 10.5 Inches x 12.25 Inches. Each print is hand numbered and limited to just two hundred prints.
