Kristin Rosenberg: Peace Rose Hybrid teas are the most widely grown roses in the world. Their delicate blooms spring forth from long, narrow buds on straight stems. Beginning in late spring or early summer, hybrid teas produce large, fragrant flowers until the first frost in autumn. The bushes usually grow to four or five feet in height and the blossoms are well-formed. Varieties of these elegant flowers include pink roses such as Bewitched, Duet and Perfume Delight. Hybrid teas like Mister Lincoln and Olympiad display exquisite red blossoms, while yellow varieties include Irish Gold and King's Ransom. Some hybrid teas are found in varied colors, like the elegant Peace rose. This beautiful flower is characterized by enormous blooms of ivory, changing to pale gold and fringed with a delicate pink.
