Perhaps no other ship sailing the open seas is as impressive as a supertanker -- a relatively recent addition to the oceans of the world. Tankers themselves have been on the seas for less than a century, carrying the lifeblood of industry: oil. The CSK Valiant makes regular runs in the world's oceans carrying its precious cargo. Tankers such as the Valiant are classifed in several categories from the small "handy tankers" which can carry approximately 6,000 tons on up to the "very large" and "ultra large" tankers which have a capacity for an incredible 160,000 tons and more.
