Les Gravures Intaglio - Stamp Engravings
Les Gravures Officielles Intaglio are the famous "black print proofs" that are created using the same process employed to make currency and banknotes. These official engraved proof prints of every French stamp are printed on Velin d'Arches archival paper in strictly limited editions -- only a few thousand copies of each. As proofs, they capture the genius of each stamp in engraved currency-like detail.To create the proof, an engraved die of the original stamp is used. For stamps that were not originally engraved, a special engraving is made. In that case, when you receive the Gravure Officielle Intaglio, you'll own the only engraved version of the stamp!

A $10 deposit to be applied to future shipments is all it takes to become a Standing Order customer.
Your Standing Order will be acknowledged. Shipments will start with the next regular dispatch following acceptance of your Standing Order. A modest shipping and handling charge is added to each shipment. All items are priced at Face Value or France's Official Selling prices plus 40 percent, converted on the date of sale to equivalent U.S. Dollars. All subscriptions include the issues of France and its overseas department of St. Pierre et Miquelon, as issued. The French Stamp Agency in North America is the official agency of the French Post for the distribution of French stamps and philatelic items throughout North America. The Agency is a division of Unicover World Trade Corporation.
